This is my Fathers world and God has sworn by himself that He is going to put his King on the holy hill of Zion and our hope is not in Washington, it is in Heaven. We need to understand that. Kingdoms come and kingdoms go, but our Lord rules over all.

What should we do? Pray for revival.

What should we do? Plan for survival.

What should we look for? Look for His arrival.

The answer is not in the school house, it’s not in the State House, and it’s not in the White House. Friends it is in the Church House. It is still with God’s people. We must prepare for survival. You need to prepare you boys and girls that it may not be like it was when you grew up. You need to build into them the Truth of God’s Word. Open up the Bible and teach them. If you don’t teach them I can assure you that Hollywood, MTV, YouTube, MySpace and other venue’s will teach them. You may say Scot is that escapism. Call it what you like I am looking for Jesus to come.

Let me share a quick story. There was a man who went to another country to visit, and while he was there he learned that the king of that country was going to come down the streets of that city he was staying. He has said that everyone there in that city was saying the king is coming. He said I have never seen a real king before, not in the real flesh. He decided he wanted to see a king. So, he got up early before the crowds came and he established his place on the curb so he would be near the car when he came by with his entourage. He said he stood there for hours, the crowds got bigger and bigger and he waited in anticipation as it was growing in his heart. He said after a while he heard the tumult and the crowds were shouting and thy kept getting louder and louder and they were shouting the king is coming, the king is coming! They were shouting long live the king! And he said his heart began to beat with anticipation I was going to see the king! He said when the car got closer and closer there I saw him. There was man dressed in a suit, a necktie, two ears, two eyes a nose; just like me, just flesh and blood. I looked at him for a moment and he went by and he said I felt so empty………… He said, I wanted to see the king…… It was so anti-climatic. I tried to figure it out. The he said I saw it in an instant… He was not my king! He did not even know my name……..

Friend one day our King is coming, our King is coming and He will know your name!

I love Jesus Christ; I am not ashamed to call him my King. I want you to know that the time is coming no matter what happens in November. The day will come when the kingdoms of this world will become the kingdoms of our Lord and His Christ. Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

So, I have a question for you? One day is coming and we will meet the King. The Word says that every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord. When that day comes will that be the first and only time you will make that confession, because at that time it will be too late. Or will today be the day you make that decision and all the angels in heaven will celebrate your decision. There are those of you who have made that decision and maybe you have walked away and ready to come back just like the prodigal son. Or maybe you have never made that personal decision to follow Christ. Well, great news! Yesterday ended last night and today is a new day to live for Christ. Jesus is the one the only one who has died on the cross for your sin, my sin, the sin of World. He has purchased you with his blood. He is the only Eternal Hope. He was raised from the dead and wants to have a personal relationship with you. HE KNOWS YOUR NAME! When you see Him HE KNOWS YOUR NAME! He knows everything about you!

Where are you today?
